Finance - TSUFE

The Scientific and Research Institute “Finance” was established by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 46 of February 5th, 2003 and the Resolution of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 78 of June 2nd, 2004 to strengthen the scientific foundations of financial policy. The purpose of creating of this institution is to make research and develop the financial and economic policy of the country. It should be noted, that in order to improve the efficiency of scientific research, the Scientific and Research Institute "Finance" in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 187 of April 2015 was redeveloped into a state institution - the Scientific and Research Institute “Finance” - TSUFE.

Over the years Rakhmonov A. (2003-2012), Rakhmatova S. (2013-2014), Associate Professor Burieva M. (2014-2015), Professor Koshonova M. (from January 2016 to June 2018) worked in the position of Director of the Scientific and Research Institute “Finance”. Now, the director of the Scientific and Research Institute "Finance" is PhD. in Economics, Associate Professor Dzhumaboev Kh.

The main activity of the Scientific and Research Institute "Finance" is the development of the scientific bases of the financial sector of the Republic of Tajikistan and the performing the number of tasks, including the research and development of scientific bases of the fiscal policy, taxation, finance, lending and investment. Its activities are to conduct research on the most important issues of financial development and the national economy, the financial situation of the domestic market, assessment of the external factors, which are affecting the financial and economic situation and preparation of analytical reports on the effective implementation of financial and economic reforms in the Republic of Tajikistan as well. 

From the first days till now, the Scientific and Research Institute “Finance” regularly holds conferences and seminars at the international and national level with the view of strengthening the process of financial and economic development of the country and specialist access to research materials in the field of research innovations in the financial and economic sphere.

Nowadays, the Scientific and Research Institute of "Finance" has two departments:
1. Department of Public Finance;
2. Department of non- Public Finance.
