On May 26 of the current year, in accordance with the letter of the Committee on Religious Affairs and Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations, and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 650/3-01(2) dated April 4, 2025, on the topic "On the Activities of Public Commissions for the Regulation of Celebrations and Rituals," a meeting was held with faculty and staff of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.

At the meeting, Saidali Khaitov, Head of the Legal Support Department, and Boyniz Niyozov, Chairman of the TSUFE Trade Union, spoke. They thoroughly explained the relevant provisions of the mentioned law and presented the amendments and additions made to it.

It should be noted that this law, in accordance with the demands of social development, aims to regulate the conduct of celebrations and rituals, preserve the authentic values of national culture, respect folk traditions, and improve the socio-economic living standards of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan. Its purpose is to protect the social interests of the population, contribute to poverty reduction, and prevent manifestations of fanaticism and superstition.
